Contact list management
How to manage your contact database with filtering, import, and export.
The contact list is a simple CRM for managing people you interact with: leads, attendees, exhibitor contacts, and partners. You can filter, tag, import, and export contacts.

Adding a contact
- Go to Contact List in the sidebar
- Click Create
- Fill in the contact's name, email, phone, company, and any relevant notes
- Assign business categories (tags) to classify them
- Click Save
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar to find contacts by name, email, or company. Combine with filters:
- Business category
- Status
- Source
- Date range
Importing contacts
- Click Import on the contact list
- Download the template
- Fill in your data following the column structure
- Upload the file
The importer creates new contacts and can update existing ones matched by email.
Exporting contacts
Click Export to download your contact list as a spreadsheet. Filters apply to the export, so you can get a targeted list.
Duplicate detection
PM One can detect potential duplicate contacts based on matching email addresses or similar names. Go to the duplicate detection tool to review and merge duplicates.
Deleting and restoring
Delete contacts from the list or in bulk. Deleted contacts go to the trash. Restore from Contact List > Trash or permanently delete.
Common questions
Q: Are contacts shared across projects?
Yes. The contact list is global and not scoped to a specific project or event.
Q: Can I track interactions with a contact?
The contact record stores notes and status updates. There is no built-in interaction log, but you can add manual notes.
